    took this the other day,best lighting we have had here,for a while,cannon 50d,400mm prime cannon lens,1/1600 sec,iso500,f5.6,hand held.comments welcome,good or bad.thanks.

    Great wing position and sharpness. Whites look a little hot in a couple of places. Too bad the white water overlaps the bird so much. I might crop a little off the bottom of the frame.

    I agree with Doug re the wing position, sharpness and cropping. Ideally, the BG would also be less busy.

    Great position and sharpness, as noted. I'd be very tempted to try a version that clones out the white water.

    Beautiful sharp bird with great flight pose and colours. Agree with toning down bright areas in the BG.

    thanks everybody for your comments,I agree about the white water,I did one,with the white water cloned out,but was not happy with my cloning,so I posted as is.thanks again.
