    The eye pops out; what a beautiful eye indeed; my attention is drawn immediately to it. The background is pleasing, but there's a noticeable spot, possibly a Photoshop artifact, by the heron's throat. If it were mine, I'd clone out the doo-doo on the rock and the two black spots.

    Good sharpness. I wish we could see the feet. I like Craig's suggestions, and I would also consider darkening or removing the tan horizontal area of water in front of the bird.

    Great colours and head turn. I would go with removing the spots and also would have liked to see his feet. Great sharp eye TFS

    Very nice, Ram. subject is very well placed in the frame. loved that BG. Eye sure is superb....best thing abt the night herons. With tripod mounted gear and a bird that holds the pose, I'd have stopped down a little more.
