    Default Harris Hawks

    Hello,
ive found a Harris Hawk nest in a small park a few blocks away from my house.
I was hanging around it, and was able to see the hawks (6) up close (flying around 15m away) the problem is that they perch really high and i dont want a super steep angle.
there is an area with smaller trees a few meters away from where they nest.
how can i make them to go down?
    playback?
    feeding them?
    Thanks a lot,
    Alfredo

Feeding them would probably be most likely to work the most efficiently and quickly; however, to bait them in any way while they are mating/nesting may not be advisable and could interfere with the natural process.

Sounds like they are in the process of setting up for the spring - please do not disturb. Find a position away from the nest and use a hide.
If you are using a TC, the 2X will flatten the picture better and make the angle more pleasing. Often, shots like this are very difficult and passed up for better opportunities. Some pro's will set up in nearby trees with tree stands and spend weeks in the process as not to affect the birds. Probably better to wait for the right opportunities and grab best shot available as they appear (they will come if you are patient) - thanks. Would not bait hawks, send me a PM if you need more information.
