i dont have to be an expert i just know i love this image. the sharpness and detail and lighting. absolutely gorgeous. i could never produce anything like this.

Detail in the overall is pretty good. The white crown seems a little blown. And the bright spot in the background behind the birds neck/tuft is a little distracting.

nice capture joe, but wheres the info :2. Looking at the camera & exif info and reading a bit about time of day or any other interesting tidbits of info around creating the image is almost as nice as enjoying the images ... or maybe its just me
lovey light and natural vignette. Great plumage on the heron, rule of thirds composition. I could see the midtones getting a little (not a lot or it will ruin the mood of the shot) but maybe a little brighter.
