    Default Winter River Blur

Here is one I shot while up in Ontario's Muskoka Region this past weekend. I used a polarizer to darken the water and ended up with an all natural Black & White image.

    Nikon D200
    80-400mm @ 400mm
    ISO 100
    f22 @ 0.5 sec

    Look forward to comments.

Hi Andrew. The polarizer really helps bring out the subtle water textures. I think the variety of flow directions and ripples are awesome! I bet this would an amazing large print.

Great B&W image Andrew, like the comp and just the right amount of blur with the 0.5 sec exposure to give it great texture. Hope you put up more shots from your trip.

    Andrew,

I like the textures in the water and the ice. Nicely done. If it were mine I might have offset the ice a bit from center in the composition and removed the ever so slight magenta cast.

Hey Andrew, I really like the textures that you were able to capture in the water....that really makes this image! Richard has some good suggestions that if followed, should raise this one up a notch or 2.

Andrew, I like the water flow and the B&W. I might like to see it a bit off centered also. Beautifully blurred.
