Being away for so long - means I need to go back through my Archives and use some from there for the time being... Not sure if I have posted this in ETL before..

Part of a OOF tree removed from the foreground - other than that sharpened and the reds dropped back a little (Could probably go a little more)
Background is of course a overcast sky.
This was the only frame out of 12+ that they were clear of the tree.

    Comments welcome and appreciated.

Absolutely gorgeous. F11 served you well as both eyes are sharp with catchlight and the rest of the exposure is spot on with nice detail in the blacks and whites. For me the composition is perfect. The only thing - and this is a matter of taste - might be to darken the background just a tad, perhaps with a bit more blue. Love that ISO :-)

Don't remember seeing this one Lance! I can't get over all the colours in the birds- pretty well every one in the rainbow. What species? Is this two males, male and female, or two females?

The wings of one bird around the other is marvellously captured and the whole interaction jumps off the page. The reds on the right hand bird looked a bit clipped but I think this is just an illusion caused by real lack of detail there (red channel running in the 230s range). Also really like the sweep starting at the wing-tips TL and ending at the tail BR.

What a beautiful action image, Lance! I also think a pop more of blue in the BG to really play off all the other colors would only add to this image. A little more DOF or ss on the right bird's tail would have been nice but sheesh...I'd be thrilled with this as is.

Great image. I really do not have much more to add than that.
