A couple Canada pairs nest on a local pond each year. They get fairly used to people so you can get quite close.

That is one gorgeous photograph! We'll be covered up with these little guys in a few months at the conservation area where I work and I'm now inspired to go after them again.
I was thinking about cloning out the blade of grass but wanted to see what comments I got. I personally think it's an improvement.
My PP skills are limited, but hopefully improving.
Super sharp detail Neil. I don't find the blade of grass too distracting; I was immediately drawn to its eye as the focal point, and found I didn't tend to wander off.
