    Default Red Georgia Clay backwater

When I thought about "red" I thought about the Georgia red clay we re-observed at Thanksgiving. Reminders of years past. This was a bit of backwater with leaves, etc.

Slight crop. Cloned out a couple of wierd branches. Watercolor filtered. Saturation bump up.

Hi Hazel, love the texture and colors. The red areas make for an interesting composition and the bright leaves are a nice contrast. Not sure about the darker area in the middle of the frame, I might suggest lightening that area a bit but I like it as presented.

Hazel, I love the rich colors and the abstract look to the image. I might crop the top a tiny bit to just under the half oak leaf that has a white tip on it. Kerry makes a good suggestion. Great OOTB thinking for the theme!!

I really like the rich dark red color and great texture you created Hazel. Nice use of filter and saturation. This is just personal preference, but I might crop off the lower 1/3 or so.
