This image is of a white pelican at Ding Darling gliding low over the water to join a feeding frenzy of egrets, herons, ibises, wood storks, and spoonbills. 20D, 500 f/4 + 1.4X, 1/4000, f/9.5, ISO 400. Cropped top and bottom for a pano look. Comments are welcome.

Beautiful pelican image, Steve. Nicely composed and exposed. I like the pano treatment.

Nice shot. Agree with the pano comp and exposure. The wing position works well with this composition.

I really like this! Much better than most pelican flight shots because of the low glide over wate-- unlike most pelican flight images which are either directed upward to birds flying above the photographer or downward like the La Jolla photographs we see so often.

I like it alot. I like the subtle refelected whites in the water as well as the reflections on the body.
