My first post on this forum, an African Skimmer taken from a canoe in Uganda. 500mm/f4 on a 1d3 with iso400, f6.3 and 1/2500, handheld. A rocky canoe is not quite an ideal situation for photography, but the result is not too bad. Any comment welcome!
Welcome to BPN Luc! I like the skimming behavior and the low angle. Apart from the rump, the bird seems a little dark; I would brighten things up a little, especially the blacks around the eye. I do wish the bird was flying towards the viewer and that the near wing was in a better position. Look forward to more of your images!
