The colour version of this was to say the least not top draw, not enough light to get a fast enough shutter speed, and I should have opened up to F4

So I have converted to B & W to hopefully hide the imperfections?

Taken in Savute Marsh area of Chobe National Park, Botswana, 3rd January 2011.

    EOS 1D MkIV

500mm F4 IS hand-held from open game viewing vehicle

    F7.1, ISO 800, 1/640, EV+0.67

Man-O-Man , this works for me big time ,
    Liking B & W too ( 2 images in 2 days , I guess my mind set is changing )

Love the action here Ken , May be full sharp image could not have produced the same impact, High time to send this to London

Ken - this works very well, although I'd like to see it without the vignette for comparison.

Looks like I will have to do some more B & W

I still prefer colour and if this had been good enough I would not have converted it.

Nice choice/job on the processing. As others have stated, a real nice vintage look.
