    Default The Mean One

    This was taken back in December, 2010 in Florida. I like the look in his eye. I wish the head had a slight more turn. The blue BG is sky reflecting off the water.

    A nice job of focusing on the eye. Needs a bit more room esp. above. Blue too dark an image overall too dark for my taste :)

    What is hanging from the bird's chin???

    Thanks Artie for the critique. Here is a corrected version. I hope this works.
    I don't know what exactly it is but it was some kind of growth which I saw on quiet a few other cormorants.

    I like the repost, it makes the eye easier to see.

    Awesome image . The repost looks better . I am not sure if you could have increased the aperture to include the beak in the DOF . That would make for an interesting shot !!

    Rakesh, thanks a lot. I was shooting at the MFD of the 70-300 mm.
