    Default Satin Bowerbird

My friend gave me directions to a great spot where these birds are not as afraid of humans. I set up my own perch and left some cut grapes strategically in one spot at the high end to entice the birds. I set up in two spots and had the bowerbirds come in within 10 minutes to inspect and feed on the free fruits. :)

Nice capture of that colourful eye! At full frame, were you able to get a portrait shot of these birds at all? That would be pretty stunning with their colours.

What an amazing looking bird, Akos. You must have been so stoked. I understand it's full frame and hope you may consider stepping back just a tad next time to give it a little more room. He appears to have something in his mouth. Must be a grape. Nice set up.
