    A Roseate Spoonbill with his neck outstretched and feet extended coming in for a landing.

    Nikon D300, 400mm + 1.4TC, ISO 320, f/9, 1/500s

    Lovely composition. Good timing to get this just before it landed.
    The image looks a little dark overall and I think if you adjusted the curves/levels it would come up a bit nicer.
