Default Weekly theme: Sunset in Anarctica

I like the light reflecting red on the water juxtaposed with the blue ice. Also, just enough sun left to give a little yellow to the sky. I used Topaz simplify to smooth it out, as well as to give a little edge to the mountains to emphasize the ruggedness.

I left a lot of sky in for the red theme - maybe too much?

    What do you think?

Michael, I love the red sky and the reflection of it in the water. I agree about the blue ice providing some nice contrast. As for the crop, I would be tempted to take maybe "an inch" off the top - to just below the yellow cloud in the center. I think this would make a nicer composition and still leave lots of that gorgeous sky. Good one!

Yes, I was pretty sure it needed that additional crop. I like this better.

I also like the crop/comp in the repost. Wonderful combination of elements and color, Michael. Fantastic reflection.

Great looking dramatic red sky landscape Michael. Like the color contrasts, and nice touch with Topaz. Repost puts it composition over the top. Well done.

Well, I'm going to be different and say I like the OP better. The extra negative space it has appeals to me somehow. Either way it's a wonderful image. Awesome colors!

    Reminds me of an O'Keeffe.
