Like the captured pose and the catch light in the eye. Exposure on head and breast is good, the rest of the body could have used a bit fill light. However, given the situation and the obvious point of interest I feel it is OK as it is. For my taste the crop is bit to tight and I would give the bird a bit more room over head and to its left.

    Cheers

Hi Mlit - Like the open beak singing pose - BG colours set the black bird off well.
Does feel a little tight overall - but guessing you might have been cutting out unwanted foreground/Background items.
Dont know if it would have been possible to move around to your right just a little? might have improved the angle just a tad.
Blacks dont look too bad - can see detail in most area's.

    Keep em coming :)

That's just pretty. I don't mind the lower detail at the back of the bird since my eye is drawn right to the birds head and shoulder. I know it's not natural but I love the perch. Then again I know I have a different opinion on perches from many more experienced photographers here so I might be an outlier on that aspect. The only thing that bothers me at all is that the darker parts of the background look a bit noisy to me, but that's a niggle.
