Default Tawny Eagle about to land

This Tawny Eagle was flying amongst some vultures in the Masai Mara region of Kenya.

They were circling around a carcass before landing, so having a number of vulture images already, I decided to track this Eagle with my eyes waiting for it to come into photographic range.

I got another image of the Tawny Eagle at the moment it left its perch. That image is available HERE for those interested.

Love the wing and talons position. Wish that the eye were more open (and not so deeply set). Toning down the single angled grass stem just above the bird's left foot is an option. Sharp.

great landing pose and nice details, agree with toning down the single grass if possible.
