Aimee Erasmus is born!!

Hey everyone...

So on Thursday morning very early (5am) I took my wife to the hospital for induced labour. We wanted to try giving normal birth, but by 8pm she was not dilated as much as the doctor hoped, and we had to do a caesarean section. Luckily it wasn't an "emergency" caesarean but rather a "precautionary" one, so the baby wasn't under stress.

Aimee Erasmus was born at 10h30pm our time on 3 February 2011, and my wardrobe has become obsolete because of the size of my chest :eek:

Here are 2 photos - one of her and one of me holding her (can you see the lack of sleep in my eyes?). Will post them in succession if the other mods will allow me this moment of "rule-breaking"

What a beautiful baby. And there is nothing like holding your baby, enjoy every moment because they aren't babies very long.

My babies are 30 and 26 years old. I do however have a 16 month old grand baby.
