    Exposure looks like it could have the shadows opened up a tad.

    Sharpness looks good.

    Half cocked wings and the head down position make this less than optimal for me anyway.

    I like the hunting pose and detail awesome shot. I agree with Jim about lifting the shadows a bit.

    The intensity of the bird makes the shot. I've been adjusting my exposure bias high
    with abandon when photographing birds in flight or with the sky as background. Be sure
    to experiment with that technique.
