    Great eye contact and exposure.

    Background is a bit distracting and would be less so if it were blurred / more OOF. I'm sure you needed al;l of the f8 to get tip to tip wings in focus so it becomes a processing endeavor.

    I'd like to see a bit more room on the bottom.

    Nice posture captured in the bird. The background appears a little too dark.

    Pose and exposure look great, as does te comp. I too find the BG a bit distracting - mostly the dark band and a few of the lighter streaks in ULC and thicker one in URC. I may detect some PP artefacts in the water? Subject very sharp as posted.
