    Default Fire Cat

Confined to my house for a few weeks and you never know what might happen...

This started out as a picture of my campfire somewhere in the great outdoors. I made a flip out of part of it because it reminded me of a face. After using two different treatments of Fractalius, it started to suggest a cat face to me. My really big boy, Ziggy, was the perfect choice due to his very black coat. Used some channel mixing and color balance on both layers to get the look I wanted.

This is awesome, Kerry. Those fracted fire looks out of the world as is Ziggy's eyes. Excellent visualization and great use of fract.

This is one AWSOME image. Striking and dramatic. Would probably make a fine print.

That is very cool Kerry and really creative! Great eyes, and intense, firey colors. The cat looks like some mystical shaman!

Sweet! I hope it didn't frighten anyone.

Thanks for your comments everyone! This one was especially fun and one of those times when I let the image decide where it wanted to go.
