Morning temps dropped to a frigid -40F  this day making conditions ideal for dramatic images. Bring on the cold!

Hi Chas, really like this shot, the layers of BG, and the bisons leaning pose, it looks to have been frozen in mid-stride. Unusual shot, and a strong one. TFS

Your images like this make me go there again and again Chas. I hope someday I get to make an image like this. Thanks for all the inspiration.

I like the soft quality of the light on scene. I am not sure but do have another shot with bison just a tad more to the left? (I kind of would like to see more of the tree on the right side not cropped so much.)

Chas, I definitely second Sid on this one. This capture IS inspirational, and makes me want to weather the frigid temps. I like the monochromic feel, but then you have that brushing of brown on the bison that gently stands out.

Echo above comments, this takes me straight to a magical wonderland. Environmental wildlife images, how can you not love them.

Very very strong image. Apart from the cold enviroment I really like the dual tone feel. Well done.
