Another older image, taken of a lioness belonging to the Selinda pride. Sun was filtered by dust and smoke haze typical of that time of year.
Lioness was walking towards the rest of the pride, and watching them intently. I parked in a depression to get a lower pov.
All C and C welcome
cheers

Wow, I really like this! The low angle, open mouth, eye contact, and movement gives me the feeling that I am a warthog about to be eaten. The tight crop adds to the impact for me. Quick thinking on your camera settings which worked well for the DOF...... It can be difficult in the heat of the moment!
I like this image a lot. Nice details and sharpness. Good timing to get the right paw in the air and a good look at those pearly whites. Her ears help make her look very wary and alert. Intense eyes seem to be trained on you and not the rest of the pride. Could possibly remove dark object (rock?) in ULC. It competes a bit with the ear, IMHO. Cheers.
Love the pov and dof you have managed to achieve here. She has a great expression on her face which has been accentuated by your lower angle of shooting. Like the slight movement in the front, raised paw and the open mouth. She's looks pretty determined, I'd get out of her way.
