I took this image of the Western Grebe recently with shutter speed 1/125sec... I liked the motion of the water streaks and applied Fractalius. Here is the outcome... This was a full frame image; added a bit of canvas on the right. Hope you like it...

Indranil...very cool image, has a real sense of movement..if it were mine I'd probably tone down the frac effect in front of the bird. I think that would make the bird look like it was blazing across the water..just my opinion though.

Nice fracting as always Indranil. I like the splashing water effect. I think Paul has a good point a this would add to the feeling of space in front of the bird. Well done!

Very differnt looking image. I might paint out some of the effect on the head , bill and eye. I think that would drea more attention.
Like the crop and feeling of motion you have created.

Thanks for all the feedback. Here is a repost with more pronounced head and bill...

Indranil, I'm a little late getting around to this one, but I love it - both the original and the repost!
