    Sid:

    The yellows in the beach play well with the birds yellows, but I find them bright enough that they actually compete a bit for my attention with the bird. I think it is a combination of the color/luminosity and the contrast with the green patches, makes me want to study the beach, more than the bird.
    I have had similar issues with some of my own pictures from that location.

    The bird itself is very nice, colorful, sharp, well exposed.

    Nice foot up pose.
