    Nikon d300
    200-400mm f/4 + 1.4 TC @ 460mm
    ISO 800, f/8, 1/320

    ACR and CS5 - levels, selective sharpening
    This is about a 60% crop

    Beautiful composition, but something went wrong with the "blue". I wouldn't know what to do next but I am certain you'll get lots of good suggestions. ann

    HI Maureen - love the interaction and the sky in the BG - Blues do look a little of though.
    Might be worth posting the original.

    Hi Maureen. I love the composition and the interaction; a great moment to have pressed the shutter. The blues do seem a bit off, too much cyan I think. You might consider adding a bit of light to the birds, especially their faces. But I like the image very much indeed.

    Great composition, maureen. I love the interaction, the green leaves and the sky BG.
    I think the lower bird looks okay but the upper bids back color is off.

    I'm willing to bet the "blue" is due to the predawn light.
    In this case, I feel it it adds to the 'mood". Color temp has a strong affect on someone's feelings about an image.

    Strong interaction between the GBHs. IMO a little more room at the bottom, less at the top(move lens down) would make this an even stronger image.
