    Ian, there's a lot to like about this one! I think my favorite part is the sharp eyebrows and whisker hairs - they really add a nice textural difference to her fur.

    I'm wondering what all you did to this in pp, though...the BG looks a bit washed out and the side of the lion that's in the shade looks a little funky in color. ???

    Hmmm ....

    Jules, I really don't understand this one. I didn't do anything unusual in PP at all ... just a bit of S/H and sharpening on the entire image. The part in the shade looks correct to me, just out of DOF (used f/5.6).
