    These guys were born about 7-10 weeks ago. And already starting to show the horns. Impalas drop there lambs Mid Nov to mid Dec ( some later) by a few days or weeks. Its part of there success strategy in the bush ( Flood the market) Anyone been to the bush will know that we have no shortage of Impalas...I had the privilege of getting to watch one being born about 9 weeks ago.....I love my Job

    Cute image Dumay, nicely exposed with good DOF. Background is a nice change, agree on the self critique.

    Dumay, I like this very much although I agree with having some more space at the bottom. With the numbers of impalas seen on safari I'm sad that more really good photographs aren't posted of them as they are a very beautiful antelope. How lucky to see one being born, I can see why you love your job.

    What an amazing photograph and an amazing job you have!!!! Agree on the self critique, but a pleasure to see this little guy. You acquired very nice details in the fur and whiskers.

    Dumay - nice to see an impala. I agree with your self-critique but really like the detail and sharpness you captured. Nice long lashes.

    Hi Dumay, like this shot, both ears in good position, clear details on the face and fur, well done here. Also like the BG, gives a bit of a 'summer' feel to the shot. Also agree with Hilary, very few good impala shots show up on BPN, partly due to their behaviour...they almost always turn away the instant you stop the vehicle or point a camera at them

    Dumay,

    Nice work, I can see why you love your job. Next time think vertical in such instances wen the subject is tall in the frame.

    {Sorry for spelling your name incorrectly Dumay. Autocorrect spelling on the iPad I was using is to blame.}
