    Default Ring billed gull at super low angle

    40D. 400f5.6L at f/6.3. iso 400. 1/640s. bean bag on ground.

    There was a small bump in the ground and no way to get the feet. So I decided to shoot through the grass to create something different. Does it work? Thx in advance.

    Works for me! I like the sharp head, HA , the eye stands out well. Nice foreground and BG colors. I think you choosed well. I like it!

    Nice one Kaustubh, great low angle and good job adapting to your conditions and going for something different. The soft BG and blurred FG colors work well. Might want to take out that bit of white in the left FG, but very well done!

    Nice, the gull is very well exposed, some times its difficult to exposed the white's....

    It works - but well! Super exposure and colours fine detail great composition.

    It certainly does work KD! I too would eliminate the lighter patch in LLC and wonder if making the top band not so dark would work better?
