Very cool look to this image Ken. One of my favorites of yours. I really like the soft OOF look to the FG grasses and having them all looking at you really amps up the drama in the image. Well done.

Lovely image indeed! Pano works very well IMO. I assume the grass in the FG was blurred in post?

Too funny! Love Couldn't the 3d zebra have raised his ears as well! Maybe he's irritated by his passenger, who really fits into this whole scene so well!. Love the egret posing, the pano, the grasses. It all came together very nicely.

Ken - I'm beginning to believe the egret is a tame pet that you tell to get in the photos . Nice that you got all three zebras looking at you and heads in the same direction. I'm also curious if blur was done in camera or in pp.

I love the eye contact. If I was a predator I would think this is one big animal. Quick thinking to get this fleeing moment captured and the fading legs gives the image almost a "fantasy" look. Keep them coming!

I like the pose of the three animals and the humor with the Egret on his back. I think what makes this a stronger image is the foreground grass blended into the lower third. If I were being really picky, then I'd say I'd prefer to have more uniform out of focus on the background trees to harmonize better with the three zebras. Well spotted capture.

Sorry for the delay, I am having to borrow Internet!

Thanks for all of the kind comments, they made for a good opportunity, its not often you get a nice tidy line up

    Ofer

The FG is naturally blurred long grass is useful with tall creatures, I just sharpened the Zebra a little.

    Marina

I have one with all ears correctly pointed, but no Egret!

It seems that Egrets are my talisman of late.
