Default First Attempt @ Blur & Filters

During a trip to NC during the Fall of 2010, I attempted a few blurs which turned out to be quite fun. During processing of this image, I decided to experiment with a few filters for the first time. Here is the outcome with just a tad of texture and I think some kind of painterly effect.

    Thank you for looking.

Hi Marina, this works really well and you did a great job for a first try! Love the colors and textures and your crop to put the zoom blur off-center is just right. Well done and I hope to see more!

Very nice blur effect, Marina. Great burst of color, and pleasing comp. Looks like you had fun creating it, and you'll probably start getting addicted to doing more OOTB stuff, like everyone else!

Marina, I love the colors and the blur. The added texture gives it an extruded look. I like the fact that you can see the detail in the bare trees also. I hope you post more of your images here

Hi Marina, perfect zoom blur, and just love the colours. Good 3D effect here, sprouting out from the upright trees. Well done.
