    Nice to get locally unusual species! Good timing on the flap...I just wish the near wing was more open. I also find the comp a bit tight. I guess this guy is molting, or soon to be, as I'm used to seeing their plumage much whiter on the face.

    Great pose of a cool looking duck. Nice lighting and detail. I agree the comp is a bit tight on the top.

    I took a look at your website - some really nice images. i think that no. 16 image of this duck wing flapping is superior to this image. Lighting is better and so is the wing position.

    Here the face is dark (can be lightened in processing).

    Good input from the folks above. Although it is a "common" eider, we don't see a lot of them on the site.

    Would prefer not to have the bill merge with the wing, and their is a little halo around the top of the head.

    Perhaps you can share the image Robert mentioned.
