WOW, what a stunning bird and a great capture. Perhaps a bit of sharpening would help as the bird looks a tiny bit soft to me, though my eyes could just be playing tricks on me.

Hey Bhai, the sharpness looks good to me, and what fantastic colours you have captured here. I like your comp too.

the tight crop seems fine to me. I tend to crop tightly, especially when there's one major object.

Love it, Kiran. Colors are beautiful and I think the crop is perfect. Sharpness looks fine to me also.

Hi Kiran, another new species for me tonight and I see why it is called a Flameback - you did it justice. Love the patterned face and eye. Nice sharp bird with good detail and IMO the angled perch helps the tight crop.

Great sharp detail and IQ. Beautiful bird too. Subject is well exposed with good natural colours against a killer bg. Well done !

Oh my God. What a beautiful bird and a beautiful image. The colors are amazing. SH is fine as it the framing and crop though a bit more above would not hurt. I only wish for just a bit more head turn towards us. Overall grade: a sold A.

Spectacular bird, Kiran; a new one for me too. Crest like our Pileated, but the flame back is remarkable. I wouldn't have minded a little more room top and left, but image is just fine as is. Sharpening looks ok to me. Great colors and bg. Thanks for introducing some of us to a new species.

That is one sweet woodpecker. It looks so strange to see orange. I like the messy beak.
