    This is another in a series of 4 gull shots that I have modified for OOTB ... mostly because I had several markedly overexposed frames from this outing and I was experimenting with methods to recover detail. This was treated with Topaz Adjust and filters from CS5. A texture was added to the sky as well.

    Looks like a good save. Probably my monitor , but I don't see the texture you added.

    Joel, I like the overall look to this and the slight softness reminds me of an Orton effect. It seems a bit tight in the frame to me and I see a small halo around the main wing I might try to reduce. I like the pose and think you did a great job on the save.

    Joel, I like everything except the bit of noise in the underwing area. You might try a soft surface blur in that area or maybe try to lighten the area a bit more to reduce the amount of noise.

    Nice composition, Joel. I like the pose and the effect. I am with Denise on the framing being a bit tight. TFS.
