Boy, when they said it was going to be a blizzard, they weren't kidding. I don't think I've ever seen it snow so much for so long and they are saying we still have another 12 HOURS of snow falling before it will be all over.

I spent the day at home (and will no doubtedly be here again tomorrow) so I've been able to keep the feeders stocked and some seed mixes out on tables for those birds that like to feed on flat ground. This image was taken through the glass in my back door about 2 hours ago and the snow has almost doubled since then. Visibility is down to less than a quarter of a mile.

For everyone else in the path of this storm, load up on supplies! It's going to be as bad as they say.

If the birds could talk they would thank you I'm sure. Stay warm.

My daughter is stuck in KC even as I type this, hoping to catch a flight to Philly tomorrow.

The snow has just started here in eastern New Brunswick. We have already had 1 meter in the last month!

We finally got dug out. Well, if you can call one open lane of traffic in each direction "dug out" then I guess that counts. Of course, when the large Metro bus comes over the hill and you're on the other side and there's only ONE CLEAN LANE...
