Yes, a diversion from my usual. Left the big guns at home on a recent trip to a wetland, knowing not much in the way of birds would be there. Had to work a bit to find some images on a very flat-colorless day. I used the Topaz BuzSim filter combined with Nik tonal contrast.

    Bonnie,

I really like this... there is a great deal of depth created due to the lighting and your effects. I might wish for a bit more depth of field at the lower left corner or maybe crop the bottom a bit though that's only minor. Well done.

Bonnie, This is appealing and the colors and effect look very nice. An interesting look. Nicely done.

Hi Bonnie, there's a lot to like in this, maybe too much.
It looks like there are 2 different images to be had here....one with about 30% cropped off the top or one with about 25% cropped off the bottom. Not a bad situation to have, IMHO.

    Nice image and application, Bonnie.

I would agree with Ken on the crop. But also a nice image as is.

Hi Bonnie, This has a wonderful quality and depth. The colors, subject and shading are fantastic! Perhaps this helps to make multiple crops possible.

Real nice image and use of filter. Like the colors and texture. Agree with Ken, regarding cropping two seperate images from it.
