    Hi Steve,

    I like it a lot as presented. Beautiful bird, love the eyes and the light you were able to capture. I find the branch behind his head a little distracting, but you probably couldn't do anything about it. Very well done, thanks for sharing.

    The bird looks great, the feather detail is beautiful.

    The BG branch has been mentioned and I can see some noise in the BG also.

    Who makes a 700mm lens? Was this a top secret field test? :)

    I'm sure you mean 500 plus 1.4X :)

    I would have left more at the bottom, even if the tail was cut. Lovely detail in the feathers :)

    What gorgeous soft light and great feather detail. I wish the branch in the background was not so large as it is a bit of a distraction. Overall nice image!
