Default Salton Sea meets mini-world meets Topaz Clean

Ok, do I get the prize for longest image title?

Lots of great mini-worlds posted already this week. Fun theme!

I started this one with a pano image of the Salton Sea. Flipped it, squared it, used PC and then Topaz Clean. The bg layer started as a blank layer and I used Render>Clouds then a Blur>Surface Blur and then tinted it blue with B&W>Tint. I ended up with a mostly abstract look, but you can see a mini-world in there too!

I feel like this is floating in space, Kerry. Neat hues and sky/clouds texture. Thanks for sharing the processing. Is that the face of a Sultan in the middle????

Very nice job on this. I might have left just a touch more room around the edges , but that's just my taste. Still sweet as it is.

    Kerry,

Love the Topaz clean look and the colors. The face is both humorous and fantastic. The closeness on the edges in these mini-worlds doesn't bother me as it seems to be the nature of the process. Well done.

Very nice, Kerry! I love the soft color tones and abstract cloud patterns. The topaz treatment adds a nice touich.

    Kerry
I'm beginning to think that every time I come to this forum and view the incredible images..... I'm going through a "do-it-yourself" psychotherapy session. Probably had to do with the day I had at school but as I stare into this one I feel like I'm getting sucked into a vortex (much like I felt today). This has an incredible 3D/depth appearance and I fell like I can actually reach into the center and go through my computer screen. Well done!

Hi Kerry cool abstract, love the look. I agree on a tad more room around the mini-world. Great work!

    Nice image and application, Kerry.

Enough has been repeated above. But like the effects of the subject area and BG.

That is awesome Kerry! Love the intricate geometric designs you created, and thanks for sharing your process, looks like fun. Getting close to looking like a Mandelbrot image.
