This image is dedicated to Park Services Specialist, Brie Ochoa, at Lovers Key State Park whom
has announced her resignation from Florida's State Parks to accept a position with the Florida Fish
and Wildlife Conservation Commission as Assistant Regional Biologist. I consider this my favorite
wildlife image I've taken. My experience with the birds may be read here . . . http://swfloridabirder.blogspot.com/...doves-cry.html
It's of course unfortunate to have clipped the Osprey's wing tips and not have the eagle's head
turned for a better view of it.
Shot in JPEG, hand held, cropped from upper left corner (not sure how to advise how much),
auto sharpened, Bicubic sharper, branch in lower 3/4 from left and right 3/5 from bottom removed,
eagle's head and tail darkened the same amount slightly.

Wonderful action image, Bob. The clipped osprey wing doesn't bother me a bit. The action is still all there. The eagle's wings are so spectacular, I wouldn't worry about the head angle either :)

Obviously not friendly neighbors. I love the beak open and talons out pose of the Osprey. I saw two Ospreys last summer attack an Eagle as well. They must be territorial. Although the clipped wing is unfortunate, it's a really easy fix if you wanted to repair and add canvass to the top. But, that's your call if you are comfortable with that kind of editing. I might tone down the Osprey's legs a bit.
