I have re-worked some of my backyard setup and changed the type of food in my finch feeder. It definetly worked. Sony A700, 70-400G at 400mm, f5.6, 1/500, iso 800. mid morning, overcast sky. PSE8, crop, NR on BG, slight color NR on bird, contrast boost and sharpen. This is only about 40% of FF. Do you think the IQ held up?

I Love the BG. The bird and perch look great also. Beautiful Colors. Nice Catch.

These guys love nyger seeds up here and a good flock can be expensive to feed

Terrific BG colours here, and good comp. Perfect look-back pose and a great view of the wing and tail markings. For me the IQ looks a bit iffy, perhaps a sharpening issue.
