    Default don't like the crop

Great image of half the bird, but I would like to the other half.

Wheeler, the format of the site doesn't work for viewing photos on an iPad.

    The graduated background is gorgeous.

    Sid,
As usual a pleasure, was that sweet light or what?

Sid, WOW! Another beautiful image from you. Love the light, the BG and the focus is excellent. The only minor thing is the light BG of the bird's left wing tip. Not sure what it is but this is the only minor "flaw" in a wonderful shot. Definitely a keeper.

Beautiful pose and light. I do wish the spot behind the near wing weren't there but this is a wonderful image.

Lovely image and esp the layers in the BG. Agree with Denise on the white spot. For some reason it's distracting...maybe b/c it's on the near wing or bc BG is so fluid except in that one spot. You guys sure had nice light. Glad to see you had nice results.

Sid, good landing posture, and have always liked the pink colours of your spoonbills over there.

Great color contrast between the bird and background! Like the pose and wing detail as well. Spot by the wing is mildly distracting as others have pointed out.

    thanks

Sid, hi, your pinks are getting me in the mood for a cool, slightly alcoholic, sweet drink in a bar overlooking the beach. I'd like more separation between head and wing, the white spot is a minor distraction, and I'm wondering about the horizon. Is it tilted just a bit?

    Craig,

That is a wake from tug boat. Not really a straight horizon.

    Thanks for the kind words.
