Not sure about the reflections here Oscar It actually makes the bg busy !!! The light is also harsh which is not helping the image

I would try going for a more uniform or simple pattern reflection Great experimenting !!!!

Like your duck, but the background is a wee bit too dark. What do you think if we lighten it up a little, increase the contrast a bit and sharpen the eye like this...:) What do you think?

that's a beautiful duck, oscar. i like the compo. and gus did a nice job of adding some light. i missed these guys when i was there. i dont think i have ever seen one. do you know what kind it is?
