    Hello folks,
This is the second of the series of a juvenile bear who was given a run for his money :D by a large female (seen in the background).

Nice exposure and shaprness Shreyas. Would like to have a little separation between the two heads and more room left, top and especially below. Well done.

Nice action shown here. Agree with Todd re head separation and some extra space.

Hi Shreyas, nice to see you posting and always good to see more bears.

Todd has rightly indicated one point, however I think the other is that it's just too tight within the frame. Not sure if this is FF or not, but certainly would like to see more room above and definitely below. When these bears take off the do at some speed so well done it getting this. Next time I might suggest in dropping to f/5.6 and going to ISO800 rather than the mid ones as they are 'true' ISO's. BTW what was the lens you used?

like the action here Shreyas! is this full frame on top and bottom? Might have liked a little more space there as it feels a bit tight. Separation between the bears noted by Todd.

    nice light and DOF

    Good action Shreyas.

I would have liked a little more space around the main bear and maybe a portrait crop if you have more pixels available.

Thanks to all you fine folks for suggestions. I'm posting the improvements as suggested. Can't do anything for the separation of the heads though, as it was quite an action and did not get another good shot of both the bears in the frame.

@Steve, the lens used was Sigma 50-500mm OS. I was situated on a small island and this guy came dashing towards me when escaping the larger female. You're right, these guys are incredibly fast! The attached image is uncropped. Can you also please educate on the ISO? Should the "true" ISO apply under all shooting conditions?

    Thanks

    Shreyas,

The repost improves it a lot.

As regards intermediate ISO's please take a look at Sabayaschi Patra's tests, I cannot find the link at the moment, perhaps you can send him a PM.

Basically internediate ISO's are generatedin camera and seem to produce more noise

Re-post is an improvement Sheryas. Re: the intermediate ISO, if you check posts here and on other sites it appears as this seems to be an issue with canon cameras. It has been stated that nikon is not affected by this, not sure about other brands.

Excellent shot! Repost is even better. Would prefer to see some more room on the left.

    Hi Shreyas

The repost is certain the right way to go and is a definite improvement on the OP IMHO.

Re ISO without going to a huge amount of depth, it is best to keep to 'True' ISO's ie 100, 200, 400, etc.
