    Wow is right ! Beautiful pose and lighting. The BG is gorgeous. The tail is amazing and well shown.

    Great job, Stephen. Superb pose and BG. A little more light on the far wing would have been nice but you can't choose where they will perform. Rietvlei seems a great place for these. They were in the process of moulting into their eclipse plumage when I was there in April.

    I am not qualified to add anything to the photography critique but I know an amazing shot of an amazing bird. The birds of South Africa are indeed phenomenal and you have captured this one very well. thanks for sharing

    Hey Stephen, comp works well for this flying posture, and you have nailed the expose nicely here. Having said that, maybe adding back some blacks may work too. Just love that Rietvlei BG. Well captured.
