Oak trees in the Little Lake Valley. This image was created by adding a textured overlay of corroding paint.

Chris, The overlay added a nice mood and texture to the image. The colors are lovely. If it were mine I might try to remove or lighten the dark smudge area on the left edge of the frame. Very nice original image. I really like trees and this image appeals to me very much.

Nice moody scene, Chris. I like the texture overlay, it adds a lot to the image. I might add a little more contrast perhaps, but only if it doesn't upset the mood of the image.

Chris, I like the texture here and the original capture too. Agree with Denise on the dark smudged area. Well done!

Hi Chris, I'm loving the moody feel as well. The low-key lighting look works really well with the textured background to give this image a very artistic presentation. Nice work!

Chris, this is a lovely image. Liked the texture overlay - especially the look its given to the trees & greens below. Might crop off a little bit from top (for my tastes).

Beautiful composition, Chris. It reminds me of Alfred Sisley's impressionist paintings and use of sky in landscape. I love the mood here and effect you have with the textures. TFS.

Chris, beautifully done. I agree with Indranil - it reminds me of Sisley's paintings also.
