    Default Flipped out ???

    Attached Images Attached Images

I've enjoyed this weeks posts and Dave's website images. His friends and images are a wonderful legacy.
Just starting to experiment with smoke and thought I would try to blend some with a flower and then added a flip.
Could sure use some help naming it ... any ideas ? :)
(The image name was one idea I had... wonder which end up when you plant it??)

I think this is a really neat image. It reminds me of a Budhist or Hindu temple, if you smoothed out the very top, so I'd name it something like Angkor Wat. regards~Bill

Looks like the top of a perfume bottle that our grandmother's generation used to keep on their vanities. It's exquisite, Steve! The combo of the flowers IN the smoke...stunning! I'm going to have to try the smoke thing one of these days - I find it so fascinating!

I was thinking this looks like some sort of exotic oil lamp.

I'm also going to give that smoke tutorial a try. Thanks a bunch for posting that link!

Wow! Awesome work, Steve! The flowers in the smoke is really neat. The shape of it reminds me of a giant squid. Well done!

    Steve,

    Wow! Very cool.

I'm with Bill on the name... Something like Whirling Vishnu... (with the bottom reminiscent of legs and knees).

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

This has been a hoot. Thanks everyone for sharing your imaginations.

With your help, I shall rename this... The Whirling Dervish.

denise, Julie and others... Look forward to what your artistic visions can do with smoke images.

Steve - blown glass, a squatting Buddha with an ornate headdress, lots of things come to mind. I'm loving these smoke images too, very cool. This one definitely looks like a vial or bottle of some sort.

Thanks Kerry! Perhaps a vessel that holds a dervish? :)

This is good one, Steve. It is amazing how many variations we can see in this image! Excellent processing. TFS.

This one is amazing Steve. It does look like it's made of glass, very elegant, intricate, smooth, symetrical design.
