Whenever I see these guys I can't help but think of 'Northern Exposure'.

The setting really throws the subject out well and just love these chilly scenes. I also like the inclusion of the blue sky at the top of the image, as I looked at cropping it out, but IMHO felt it looked to bland and needed that hint of colour.

nice one Sid! I dig the contrast of the icy surrounds and the dark fur of the moose.
compo nicely balanced and tells a neat story

I think shaving some off the top might remove some of the blue patches (OOF mountain?) which seem to draw my eyes.

The strong contrast makes this pop Sid.

Good and sharp for 1/250 as well.

Think this one works both with/without the blue on top. Nice to be able to see the eyes. Really like the soft, pastel colors. Contrasts well with the moose and gives the image a soft, quiet feel indicative of a cold winter day.

    Sid,

Nice light on this one as allready described "pastel".

    Crop works well for me.

Just wondering, are they normally this dark, is this a winter thing?

Lovely scene Sid. Nice light and exposure. Sharpness looks good as well. Does have the "Northern Exposure" look (which btw was filmed about an hour from where I live). Well done.
