    Default Raccoon Fractalius

Here is one for Dave. I never had the pleasure of knowing the man nor have him critique any of my imagery, but he must have been a special person. He seems to have a big impact on many of the folks who have been here for awhile.

This Raccoon was one of four youngsters that came by the family cottage a couple of years ago. I am guessing the mother chased them away to start their own live without her and they were hanging out together. I put the dog in the cottage and enjoyed shooting many close-ups of the very curious little fellas that were illuminated by the setting sun. The background color is from the deck on the cottage.

    Look forward to comments.

Andrew, the fract treatment is wonderful. I love the eyes, the background and the tree (actually I love the whole image)

The light in this is striking and your frac work takes this one over the top!

I bet the original looks pretty darn good, too!

    Andrew,

I agree with Denise... the eyes really draw you in. Very dramatic Frac effect. Well done.

Andrew, You are getting too, too good at this Fracting stuff. As above, I love everything about this one, especially the sharp fur and bark textures. And those eyes.

Andrew, this is super! The treatment is just right for this subject and I'm certain that Dave would have "flipped" over this one. The eyes are just fabulous - haunting!
