    Ofer:

Another beauty, lovely colors in bird with nice BG too.

Although the perch is pretty massive for this fellow, it is so weathered, dark and smooth, that it is less noticeable.

He is angled away from us a bit, but the fish tends to counteract that visual effect for me.

    Cheers

    Randy

The position of the perch adds depth. Im sure it took some patience and a little luck to get this gorgeous bird in the correct position.

Glaring sheen on the tip of the bill could be toned down. Background seems overly saturated and competes against the birds color and seems noisy.

    Nice shot Ofer.

If interested I have a spot in Sydney where these guys can be found. I have tried without success to photograph them at this location - A hide would be very helpful at this location. With what i have seen of your work I'm sure you would have no problems.

    Cheers Tom

I find the perch natural looking and not a problem. Love the colour and sharpness of the bird. I do find the BG too over saturated.

Great pose (albeit slightly angled away) and sharpness. I find the colors - especially of the background - too Kodak. There is also significant noise. As for the composition I think it needs more space on top and less from the bottom. The latter may also reduce the impact of the perch. JR

Ofer, great IQ as usual. Stunning colors and prey always a terrific bonus to have.
