    Hi Everyone,
    It's been a while...
I thought I'd share these puffins with you. This was taken on the Farne Islands last June and cropped for composition. The light was quite harsh.

    Nicki:

    Glad to see you back.

Fun landing pose here, complete with mouth full of fish!

I am at work, so can't call the whites accurately.

It does look a bit bright overall however.

I could see a bit off the top.

Once again, nice to see you posting here again.

    cheers

    Randy

Hi Randy, thanks so much for the kind words. I THINK that the whites are OK - but they might be a bit close to the mark... :w ... and you know that I always favour my images on the light side...

Hi Nicki, clever title, and I like the landing posture with the swept back wings. His beak full of fish adds a nice touch. This is one species I really need to see in real life.:w

Nice composition and moment. I like Peter's fix - the whites are just too hot in the original post.

I appreciate the separation of the three birds. Comical and lovable little creatures, aren't they? Peter's repost and tutorial are highly useful.
